Please all potential home movers when searching for your moving company make sure you get them to call at your property to do a viewing / survey so as both parties know exactly what your requirements are and you get a fixed price for the work involved in writing .......and i think it's also nice and proper to meet face to face I have had a lot of calls recently where people have said they filled forms in online or taken a price over the phone (usually the cheapest) only to find that on moving day when the van arrives and they look around the property and then say there is a lot more here to move than you said ! ............so we want more money than we quoted you and basically what happens is you pay more upfront there and then or the van and crew drive off !!! so you're pretty much stuffed on your move day and you will really struggle to get a proper professional company at such short notice !!! also please note removal firms that do not have a business address or a landline phone no on there website or any other form of advertising .... only a mobile no ! please be aware i call it the 9am call .....so please be aware if something is to cheap there is usually a reason for it !
