Why is the buying & selling System so complicated in England !

Having been in the removals business since 1982 I see no improvements whatsoever in the home moving (Buying and selling)  system in England !

Why is it so complicated from day one to put your home up for sale and often 8 months or more down the line you still don't have a move out date ?  When you finally get a date, you are scrambling around to get a removal company as of course nearly everyone as to move on the same day in England !

Ok its finally  move day now yippee....

We are not quite there yet as when we get to your new home we then have to hope that all  the monies have landed at a reasonable time for completion !

So basically our customers and ourselves can  just hang around for for endless hours outside the new home (key waiting as we call it) a nightmare system that is in the dark ages and needs to be addressed immediately .

One last thing, if by 5pm you don't get the keys for your new home you don't move in that day - what a crazy  system it is.

I will save the rest of my hundreds of stories about the moving business over my 40+ years for my book (I need to start on it very soon)!
